NGOs

Director: Rekha Marcus

I have participated in MUN conferences since middle school and have slowly grown to love the experience of attending conferences, meeting new people and learning about new topics and international cooperation. I have attended LMUN as a delegate for 3 years, and is excited to be the head of the NGO team for this year's LMUN. I' am working alongside a wonderful team of NGOs to ensure the committees run smoothly and the conference is enjoyable for everyone, and I'am excited to see how these committees progress throughout the conference as delegates take on new challenges as they arise and learn more about being globally minded. I hope to expand the NGO team to not only work with committees but with chairs and delegates to ensure the experience of this LMUN is the best. I have made some changes to the program and will be working closely alongside the directors of each committee to come up with creative solutions to problems that arise in each committee and ensure that debate flows smoothly in each. I look forwards to working together with all the delegates to make this LMUN one of the best yet!

Megan Torres

Megan is a junior who has been an active participant of MUN since she was in seventh grade. She's passionate about debating current world issues, something she finds incredibly necessary in the current political climate. Having done MUN for five years means she's aware of how committee is supposed to flow and is equipped with the necessary skills to make LMUN a successful conference. Megan is excited to be working alongside committee directors and delegates to make this an enjoyable conference for everyone involved.
