Welcome to the 23rd
Lincoln Model United Nations!
LMUN 2019

April 6-7
Lincoln School, Costa Rica

Welcome everyone!

—Greetings from the LMUN STAFF—

Lincoln School introduced the Model United Nations Program to Costa Rica in 1992. Since then, the program has expanded and most importantly inspired generations through a sense of leadership, global community, and diplomacy.
It is in this context that the Steering Committee is honored to invite you to the upcoming Lincoln School's 23rd MUN Conference that will be held Saturday, April 6th, and Sunday, April 7th, 2019, at the Lincoln School campus in Barrio Socorro, Heredia.
We are planning to have a total of 9 committees, two of which will be Middle School and three of which will be Spanish-speaking. In addition, we are very excited for our innovative approach, which includes a program whose aim is to bring together Costa Rican public schools and our NGO committee to promote the inclusion of even more Costa Rican students. We will be doing so through debate drills and rules-of-procedure workshops.
Contact us through the conference email (munlincoln@gmail.com) or our personal emails included below.

We look forward to seeing you!

We aspire to honor this tradition, keep enriching the Student mindset, and achieve a holistic integration of the youth.

Bring Your Own Bottle Campaign
Delegates, for this LMUN 2019 we are implementing the Bring Your Own Bottle Campaign as a way to create environmental awareness. Many LMUN bottles have gone to waste in previous years and the LMUN Steering Committee wishes to reduce our waste this year. Because of this we kindly ask all delegates, faculty and staff involved to bring their own bottle to reduce waste and help us create awareness for this very important global issue.
